Trend are why you aren't successful

There is a reason people follow trends

They see something that works, seeing others get success and assume that if they do the same thing, they will also get that same level of success.

That couldn’t be further from the truth

I remember when i used to post fan drawing of video game and comic characters in the hopes of getting views

In addition, i though i could drawing commissions for doing so

All because i saw others doing the exact same thing and they found success

Not to mention, everyone else is trying to do the same thing

But those that actually find success are 2 kinds of people, the trendsetters and the opportunists.

The trendsetter get success because they dared to step out of the trend to do their own thing which yielded them results, being leaders of the trend that they created.

People like Andrew Tate, Iman Gazi, Dan Koe, Socratis, Picasso, Alexander the Great, etc. All established their own trends that got them succuss and freedom, being pionners in their respective spaces.

The opportunist is a little different, they are part of the herd of people following the trend

However, they are able to find success by finding the right opportunities that the trend presents and when to strike at the chance of getting success.

These are where most businesses fall in because they know the right moments of where to strike.

I'm not saying trends aren't useful, they are needed to understand where the market is headed but as a creator/freelancer, actively trying to follow a trend expecting to get results like those that already got them won’t do you any good

That is why I changed career paths from being a drawer that focused on fan art to a designer/ looking to help others establish their brands and solve their problems
