There is a market for you
There are more than 7 billion people in the world
less than 10% are out creating, the other 90% are consuming
That means there will be people out there looking at your content, even if it’s not a lot
But you can increase it by niching down and knowing who your target is
If you are lost and don’t know what to do, the people that you are trying to target won’t notice you and if they do, they will be just as confused as you.
As a copywriter, you want to target aspiring copywriters and those interested in copywriters for a service
As a Designer, you want to target aspiring designers and those interested in Designers for a service.
As a fitness influencer, you want to target those trying to get in shape and those who can use a personal trainer
This is just the first step, it’s very broad and anyone can get into their respective fields. Niching down is where things will start to work for you
For example, as a designer on X, my content focuses on advice for upcoming designers new to the game, actual design work, experience with what it’s like growing on X, and overall personal experiences. If I wanted to niche down, I could specifically target how certain designs can have a certain impact in something like Dropshipping, business, social media marketing, SAAS, or on YouTube.
But my main focus is to share information that can help someone and grow as a freelancer so that I can help more people.
